都市をたずねる105 -「ガイド吉田山！代官山登山！」“From Shibuya to Daikanyama: A City Hike with Yoshidayamar!”
トモ都市美術館の「都市をたずねる」。105回目となる8月30日（土）は「ガイド吉田山！代官山登山！」 をやってみます。渋谷に集合して、代官山を、文字通り登ります。ガイドは同路上性という視点から世界を眺め、登山するかのように企画をつくる人間、吉田山。先日『風の目たち / The Eyes of the Wind Pocket Tour Book 2022―2024』を上梓したことを受けて、緊急の都市探検型登山企画です！
夏の終わりに山に登りませんか？谷から山へ。その途中にある様々な窓の形状や装飾を観察しながら我々は今日の芸術の依り代を探しながら山頂を目指します。「風の目たち」主催吉田山と2023年参加作家トモトシによる都市探索型登山です。最後にたどり着くのは果たして。(渋谷から代官山蔦屋で開催中の風の目たちのフェアまで歩きます。代官山蔦屋で書籍購入者には、2人のサインを書きますね！) 吉田山
登山の道中のおもしろはもちろん、登頂後のお疲れ様的な会も、吉田山がいろいろ考えてくれてます！途中参加・離脱OK！どなたでもぜひ！誰も来なければ2人で登ります。
On Saturday, August 30, we’ll hold “From Shibuya to Daikanyama: A City Hike with Yoshidayamar!” We’ll gather in Shibuya and literally climb up to Daikanyama. The guide is Yoshidayamar, who creates projects like planning an art hike. Following the recent publication of The Eyes of the Wind Pocket Tour Book 2022–2024, this is a special urban exploration hike!
Why not climb a mountain at the end of summer? From valley to mountain, we’ll head for the summit while observing the shapes and decorations of windows along the way—seeking new footholds for today’s art. This is an urban exploration hike led by Yoshidayamar and Tomotosi. Where will we end up? (We’ll walk from Shibuya to Daikanyama Tsutaya, where the Eyes of the Wind fair is happening. 吉田山
2022年から2024年まで自身のアートプロジェクトとしてジョージア、トルコ、ギリシャ、アルメニア付近で取り組んでいたトラベリングパブリックアートプロジェクト「風の目たち」をついに書籍化し販売中。その他、現在は神戸で「MOTOKOLOGY」のキュレーションや、MEET YOUR ART FESTIVALのエキシビジョンキュレーターを務める。過去には神宮前のアートスペース「FL田SH」、代々木駅前のギャラリー「TOH」、熱海での芸術祭である「ATAMI ART GRANT」(2023ー2024)のディレクターを務めていた。育児から学ぶ事は多いと考えているアートアンプリファイア3年目。

お疲れ様でした。十数分のルートを、大人数で2時間以上かけて歩くという体験が、いろいろなものを見せてくれました。おひとり様で鑑賞するプラネタリウムや、斜面に連続して建てられる家の形や、大竹伸朗のファンサービスや、10人以上だと入れない角打ち、、、。吉田山の緩やかながらポイントを抑えた山登りに着いていくと、様々な発見があるのでした。蔦屋で「風の目たち」のページをめくりながら裏話を聞いて、恵比寿の路上で乾杯したあとも熱く話して解散！吉田山さんありがとう！またやりましょう！
Thank you to everyone who joined! Walking a short route that normally takes just ten minutes, but doing it slowly together for over two hours, revealed so many things along the way—like a planetarium for solo visitors, the unique shapes of hillside houses, Shinro Ohtake’s unexpected fan service, and a standing bar too small for a group of ten. Following Yoshidayamar’s gentle yet well-paced mountain hike, we made countless discoveries. At Tsutaya, we flipped through The Eyes of the Wind while hearing behind-the-scenes stories, then toasted on the streets of Ebisu before finally calling it a night. Thank you, Yoshida Yamar! Let’s do it again!
