Imaginary Void

今日においては、ある分野で卓越したときに「神」と称される。「神」になる、ということについて考えた作品。
作家であるトモトシ自身のSNSのアイコンを一度文章化し、その文章を元に６人の画家に絵画化してもらう（過去に聖書を視覚化して「イコン」を作成してきた画家のプロセスを再現するように）。
さらにそのイコンを破壊してできあがる空間を立ち上げる。絵画の顔の部分から覗く世界(＝神の視界)を追体験できるインスタレーションである。言い換えれば、これはインスタントに「神」になれる装置でもある。

Today, people often call someone a “god” when they excel in a certain field. This work explores the idea of becoming a “god.”

Tomotosi’s SNS icon was converted into text, and six painters created artworks based on that text—much like how painters once visualized the Bible through icons. The canvases were then broken to create voids, forming an installation where viewers can look through the faces of the paintings, experiencing the world from a “god’s” perspective. This piece allows anyone to instantly step into the role of a “god.”
