東京五輪へ贈る3匹の魚 / To Tokyo Olympics With 3 Fish

FL田SHにおける展覧会「芸術競技」最終日の7月24日（東京オリンピック2020の開会式の予定日と同日）に開催されたイベント「オープニングセレモニー」におけるパフォーマンス（後に観衆の方々からいただいたフッテージを繋げて映像化した）。
3匹の魚を、あたかも海の中を泳いでいるように動かし、最後には新国立競技場の敷地内に投げ入れた。
映画「ゴッドファーザー」の作中に、マフィアが魚を相手方に送るというシーンがある。「ルカは海の底だ（=ルカは殺された）」というシチリア流のメッセージなのだが、今回のパフォーマンスではこのシーンを参照している。*布施琳太郎によるレビュー『作業員の死をいかにして「供儀」しうるか。』（美術手帖）

This performance took place on July 24, 2020—the originally scheduled opening day of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Tomotosi moved three fish as if they were swimming in the ocean before ultimately throwing them onto the grounds of the new National Stadium.
The act references a scene from The Godfather, where a mobster delivers a fish to his opponent as a Sicilian message: ‘Luca is at the bottom of the sea’ (meaning Luca has been killed). This performance draws on that imagery, layering it with its own context.
