都市をたずねる68 -「東京水飲み比べツアー」 – “Tokyo Water Comparison Tour”
TOMO都市美術館土曜の恒例企画「都市をたずねる」。9/16（土）は『東京水飲み比べツアー』をやってみます。「水が合う／合わない」という言い方があることからも、かつては土地によって採れる水の質が大きく違っていたと想像できます。現在、わたしたちが日常的に使う水道水の質は一定に保たれていますが、それでも水源や浄水方法によって微妙に違いがあるはず。そこで今回は場所を移動しながら、その土地の水を飲み比べてみようという会をやってみます。東京都水道局作成の「東京の水道水源と浄水場別給水区域」のマップを見ると、港区に、水源／浄水場が異なるエリアが4つ重なっている場所があります。つまり至近距離に水質の違う4つの水道水を試せる場所だと言えそう。今回はこのポイントを起点に移動しながら、公園の水を飲み比べしていければと思っています。街が均質化しつつあると言われて久しいですが、水質の違いを通して街を見てみると、何か発見があるかも、、ね！どなたでも適当に。途中参加・途中離脱OK。よかったら。誰も来なければトモトシ1人でやってみます。
Today, the quality of tap water we use on a daily basis is maintained at a constant level, but even so, there must be subtle differences depending on the water source and purification method. So this time, we will try to compare the quality of water from different places. There is a place in Minato Ward where four areas with different water sources/purification methods overlap. In other words, it is a place where you can try four different tap waters of different quality within a close distance. This time, I would like to compare the water in the park, starting and ending at this point.

お疲れ様でした。予定していた4つの公園と、途中で寄った3つの公園（水源が同じなのでカウントはせず）で水を飲み比べました。ちゃんと比較すると本当に違いが判ることに感動があったし、さらに全体的においしいと思えたことに感動しました。20000歩以上、13キロくらいを歩いて最後の方はヘロヘロでしたが、結局最後に飲んだ芝浦公園の水が一番おいしく感じ、報われた気持ちでした。ちなみに後日、「配水系統～ご家庭の水道水情報」という便利なサービスがあると教えてもらって、先に知ってたら歩く距離半分で済んだかもとなったのですが、まあ架空の地図を思い描きながら歩く体験は普段ない体験だったなとも思うのでした。また別のエリアでやってみましょう！（トモトシ）
Thank you to those who participated. We compared the water we drank at the four parks we had planned to visit and the three we stopped at on the way (not counting the three parks because they have the same water source). We were very tired after walking 20,000 steps and 13 km, but in the end, the water we drank at Shibaura Park tasted the best, and we felt rewarded. By the way, I was later informed that there is a convenient service called “Water Distribution System – Tap Water Information for Your Home,” and if I had known about it first, I could have cut the walking distance in half.
