都市をたずねる79 -「新しいTOMO都市美術館へ引っ越す」 – “Moving to New tomotosi Museum”
2024年1月3日はTOMO都市美術館企画で「新しいTOMO都市美術館まで荷物を運ぶ」をやってみます。西荻窪のTOMO都市美術館から、墨田区文花の新しいTOMO都市美術館までは、Googleによりますと最短距離で22.3Kmで、徒歩5時間15分です。これをリヤカーに載せれるだけ荷物を載せて移動します。
お伝えしています通り、TOMO都市美術館は2024年の年始に退去することが決定しました。そもそも急に家賃が値上がりしたことで退去を余儀なくされたので、引っ越しは想定外の出来事で、そこに充てる予算はありません。だったら自分の頑張りでどうにかするしかない、というところから始まった企画です。一緒に長旅に付き合ってもらうのもありがたいですし、現地に先に行って「12時間新年会」でお酒を飲みながら待っていてもらっても嬉しいです。途中参加・途中離脱OK。よかったら！
On January 3, we will try “Moving to New tomotosi Museum”. According to Google, the shortest distance from Nishi Ogikubo’s tomotosi Museum to the New tomotosi Museum in Bunka is 22.3 km, which is a 5-hour and 15-minute walk. We will be carrying as much luggage as we can fit on the back of a wheeled cart.
As we have informed you, the tomotosi Museum will be vacated at the beginning of 2024. Since we were forced to move out in the first place due to a sudden rent increase, the move was an unexpected event, and we have no budget to allocate for it. If that was the case, I had no choice but to do something about it through my efforts, and that is how this project started. I would be grateful if you would accompany me on the long trip, or I would be happy if you went there first and waited for me with drinks at the “12-hour New Year’s Party”. You are welcome to join or leave during the trip if you like!

前日の8時間ビデオリレーで遅くまで飲んでたので朝予定通り起きられず。参加者の方々に、家具をリヤカーに載せるのを手伝ってもらいながらようやくスタート。長い長い杉並を経て、新宿まで来たところで休憩。まだ1/3かとちょっと先を思いやりましたが、皇居の緑が見えてきた辺りであと半分だ！と元気が出て、後は一気に行けた気がします。30分休憩を3回くらいとった以外は基本歩きっぱなしで、19時頃に墨田の新しいTOMO都市美術館に到着。約8時間、35000歩くらいの道のりでした。荷物を載せるのを手伝ってくださった方々、インスタライブの撮影をしてくださった方々、付いてきてくださった方々、新しいTOMO都市美術館で待っててくださった方々に大感謝です。これにて引っ越し！（トモトシ）
