トモ都市美術館 – 都市をたずねる85「開館から閉館まで西洋美術館で過ごす」- “Spend the whole day at the National Museum of Western Museum”
85回目となる「都市をたずねる」。3月16日（土）は、「開館から閉館まで西洋美術館で過ごす」をやってみます。9時半の開館から17時半までの10時間半を過ごします。企画展「ここは未来のアーティストたちが眠る部屋となりえてきたか？」（入館料一般2000円、大学生1300円、高校生1000円）と常設展を見つくしましょう。3月11日に実施された同企画展覧の記者向け内覧にて、出展作家の飯山由貴をはじめ展覧会出品作家有志を中心とする市民による抗議がありました。虐殺の続くパレスチナへの連帯を示すとともに、国立西洋美術館のオフィシャルパートナーである川崎重工が、「パレスチナ侵攻を行うイスラエルより武器を輸入し、利益を与えるとともに代理店として利益を享受しようとしている企業」であると批判しました。抗議活動後、すでに美術館内外で多くの議論が起こっているようです。
このある種の告発？があるまで、西洋美術館がオフィシャルパートナーを設けていることすら知らなかったという方も多いのではないでしょうか（ぼくもその1人です）。まずは現状をよく見て、調べ、考え、話し、行動することが重要と思い、この企画をやってみます。基本的に各自のペースで鑑賞して数時間おきに集合して少し話す、を繰り返す予定です。途中参加・途中離脱もちろんOK！誰が来るでしょうか。誰も来なくてもトモトシ1人でやってみます。

In addition to expressing solidarity with Palestine, which continues to experience genocide, they criticized Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd., an official partner of the National Museum of Western Art, for being “a company that imports weapons from Israel, which is invading Palestine, and seeks to benefit from them as a profitable distributor. After the protests, there seems to be a lot of discussion already going on inside and outside the museum.
Before this accusation, Many people may not even know that the National Museum of Western Art has an official partner (I am one of them). I think it is important to look at the current situation, research, think, talk, and act, so I am going to try this project. We plan to view the exhibits at our own pace and meet up every few hours to talk a little bit. Of course, you are welcome to join or leave during the tour. Even if no one comes, Tomotosi will try by himself.
