トモ都市美術館 – 都市をたずねる122「六本木で星を50個集めてみる」- “Collecting 50 Stars in Roppong” (REVOLIC presented by MES『210911 -BORN THIS NIGHT-』関連企画)
7月25日（土）に、REVOLIC presented by MES “210911 -BORN THIS NIGHT-“ の関連企画 Night Gathering #X として、「六本木で星を50個集めてみる」を開催します！
六本木には、アメリカ大使館、そして東京23区唯一の米軍基地があります。今回はアメリカ国旗になぞらえ、六本木の街で50個の星を探して歩いてみます。飲食店や車、看板、Tシャツの柄など、このエリアの様々な場所に現れる「星」という記号を見つけるたびに、写真として収集していきます。星を集めることを通じて、この街でどのように「アメリカ」が存在し、表象されてきたのかを考えてみる機会になれば幸いです。ツアー終了後は、撮影した写真をWALL_alternativeへ持ち帰り、MESの展示をもう一度見ながら、また集めた星を見ながら、今回の経験について話せたらと思います。途中参加・離脱OK。誰も来なければトモトシとMESと吉田山でやってみます！
REVOLIC presented by MES “210911 – BORN THIS NIGHT” Night Gathering #X Collecting 50 Stars in Roppongi (Ask the City Vol.122)
On July 25, we will host “Collecting 50 Stars in Roppongi” as part of the public program for “210911 – BORN THIS NIGHT” Night Gathering #X.
Roppongi is home to the U.S. Embassy and the only U.S. military base within Tokyo’s 23 wards. Inspired by the 50 stars on the American flag, we’ll walk through the neighborhood collecting 50 stars—found on restaurant signs, cars, T-shirts, buildings, and anywhere else they appear.
Each star will be photographed. By collecting them, we may begin to see how “America” exists and is represented in this part of Tokyo.
After the walk, we’ll return to WALL_alternative, revisit the exhibition, and look back at the stars we collected together.
Feel free to join or leave at any time. And if nobody comes, Tomotosi, MES, and Yoshidayamar will collect all 50 stars ourselves!
